# How do I identify the lock on my garage door's wicket door?

### What to note down

* The **make of your door** (Novoferm, Normstahl, Hörmann, Tubauto…)

* The model and year of the door.

* Sectional or up-and-over door

* The opening direction
    * if up-and-over: number of locking points (1 or 3)
    * if sectional: position (centre or intermediate)
