# How do I replace a Novoporte motor head?

Replacing the motor head of a Novoporte opener, explained on video.
This tutorial shows how to remove the old motor head and fit the new one on a Novoporte rail already in place.

This tutorial covers fitting the motor on the door's side rail through to programming the control unit.
Note: fitting and programming the Novoporte 5 (speed) is identical to the Novoporte 4 shown in the video.
