How do I find out the make and model of my garage door?

Knowing the make and model allows the identification of almost every part. Here's where to find the information.

Look for the plate or label

Most doors carry an identification plate or sticker.
Check:

• on the side edge of the panels,
• at the top of the door or on the lintel,
• On a panel

⚠️ The door's reference and the opener's reference are completely separate.

No label?

We know garage doors inside out; several clues help us identify your door: the shape of the hinges, the shape of the lock, the position of the springs...
Send us photos of:

• the door fully closed, seen from inside and outside
• The part you're looking for (in position, if there are several on the door)

And then? Note down what you find, and send it to us with a few photos via our online chat, WhatsApp, e-mail or phone: we'll take it from there.

What if I can't find the make? That's not a problem: based on the dimensions and photos, we can usually identify the compatible part.
